The Summer School is capped to 60 participants and therefore, applicants will need to motivate their interest. The candidates will be selected based on their technical background and fit to the summer school and also considering diversity & inclusion aspects. eBISS 2023 adheres to the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) initiative of the Database community aiming to guide researchers in the community to adopt a more inclusive mindset in general toward different individuals regardless of their age, gender, gender identity, race, cultural background, religion, physical and mental ability, sexual orientation, parental and marital status, etc.
